Glendale Apartment Storm Problem
This infrequent storm dumped water into the service corridor of this Glendale apartment building. The interior, partitioned storage rooms sustained lower level drywall water damaged. The saturated material was removed at the 2-foot mark after the water had been removed. The metal studs were also dried to prevent rusting and deterioration. We drilled holes to drain water from the cells of the cement block opposing wall. The second photo depicts a completely dried out area after the air movers, and dehumidifiers had been removed. Because of the concrete base and wall, it took four days to verify that the area was back to normal moisture levels. Fast service minimized the damaged, and the management company was very pleased.
