Fire & Water - Cleanup & Restoration

Eagle Rock Sprinkler Tool

Quickstop multi-tool is a device that is used to shut off fire sprinklers. It is a clamping tool that is used to clamp-off the fire sprinklers and stops the flow of water. The SERVPRO technicians demonstrate how the tool should be used appropriately to stop the water.

As you can see in the video, SERVPRO of Eagle Rock/ South Glendale technicians do a great job of demonstrating how easy it is to use the tool. The video also demonstrates detailed instructions on how to use the tool. In the first half of the video, you can see how to place the tool over an open sprinkler and adjust it. In the latter half, our IICRC certified technicians demonstrate how the tool is used in the field on a demo fire sprinkler unit.

The first step to use the device is to insert it in the bottom part of the sprinkler and clamp it down by pressing onto the handles. Once in place, you can also adjust the tool to completely shut off the water flow from the sprinkler by using the built-in adjusting screw.

Being able to stop the fire sprinklers is one of the first things to do in case of fire damage restoration. The tool provides an excellent all-in-one tool that can be not only used to stop fire sprinklers, but also remove FDC caps, shut off the residential utilities, adjust system pressure (PRV) and also to block the doors open. The tool is an excellent asset for the clean-up crew after an incidence of a fire. If the water from the sprinklers is shut off quickly, the chance of severe secondary water damage can be minimized.

As you can see in the video, our SERVPRO team practices how to use this tool on a demo fire sprinkler unit. We have a team of experts who have years of experience in fire damage restoration, and We're Faster To Any Size Disaster.
